Commercial Team

Julian is a partner in the firm and has been practising Commercial Law for over 20 years. He has a wealth of experience in this field. He is currently Chairman of the Chelmsford Solicitors Group and is an active member of Business Network International. He is married with three young daughters and is a keen sailor when time allows.

Justin is married to Alison (the Residential Conveyancing Manager at Hill & Abbott). They have 2 children. Justin joined the firm in 1987 as a trainee. He developed his interest in commercial work by training with and assisting the former Senior Partner, Nicholas Abbott. Justin’s main interest is sport. Although no longer playing he has always been keen on football, cricket and rugby. He remains a “social fair weather” golfer. He also attempts to keep a certain level of fitness at a gym.

Katherine gained a degree in French and Business Studies before converting to Law and joining the firm in 2007 as a Trainee Solicitor; since qualification she has joined the Commercial Department.  Katherine's work involves her in all aspects of commercial transactions and she also prepares and advises on residential tenancies.

Katherine is an active and committed member of Chelmsford Hockey Club; she also enjoys spending time with her husband and playing golf, tennis, cricket and travelling when time permits!
