Private Client Team

Angela became a Partner in 2008 after training at Hill & Abbott and qualifing as a solicitor in August 2002.  She joined the very active Private Client Department in order to pursue her career and is now Department Head.  Since qualification, Angela has specialised in this area and is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Judith is a Fellow of The Institute of Legal Executives (F.ins.L.Ex.) a Member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP.) and a member of Solicitors For the Elderly, a national organisation of solicitors, barristers and legal executives (SFE). She was awarded Legal Executive of the Year in 1997 for her work setting up a specialist part of the department aiming to advise the retired and elderly on wide ranging subjects. Besides her interest in the elderly Judith advises on all aspects of tax planning through Trusts, lifetime gifting and Wills. In her spare time she enjoys walking, reading and travel.

Ian joined the Private Client Department in the summer of 2007, after qualifying with a local practice. In his free time outside of work he enjoys both watching and playing many different sports, especially football with his support for Colchester United. He has a strong involvement in the local community through his fundraising with the local Rotaract Club.
